Reminders for a busy week ahead:
Soles Walk for Catholic Education Assembly on Monday afternoon, Oct. 15: An assembly for our students to celebrate the upcoming Soles Walk and an extra special treat for our 3rd Graders who are invited to "gently" pie Principal Garvey in the face -- their reward for winning the Penny Wars.
Early Release on Tuesday, Oct. 16 for Teacher InService: Students in 5K through 8th Grade are released at 11:45 am and students in 3K and 4K are released at 11:30 am. Thank you for giving teachers the afternoon to work on long-range projects. The next Early Release Day for a Teacher InService is in February 2019.
General Mills Box Tops For Education Fundraiser: Send in those Box Tops this week so we can get them counted and sent to General Mills by the Nov. 1 deadline. This is an easy fundraiser so we hope all of our families take part in it. Just buy your normal products, clip the box tops and send them to school. We'll handle the rest. Please give Box Tops to your child's teacher or drop them in the School Office.
Masses This Week: Students in 4K through 4th Grade attend Mass on Tuesday, Oct. 16 with 4th Grade leading the Mass and Grades 5 through 8 attend Mass on Thursday, Oct. 18 with 8th Graders in Mrs. Grolemund's class leading the Mass. Please join us for Mass which begins at 8:30 am each weekday morning.
Spirit Wear Wednesday: Wear uniform bottoms with a St. Charles t-shirt, sweatshirt or jacket for Spirit Wear Day Wednesday, Oct. 17.
ADORE Family Holy Hour: Join us at 6:30 pm in the church followed by refreshments and play time for children in the Borromeo Room. Learn more here.
Soles Walk This Saturday: We'll see you at the Soles Walk for Catholic Education on Saturday, Oct. 20 at Mount Mary University in Milwaukee. Look for the yellow St. Charles flags in the open field at Mount Mary and we will walk as a group. There is still time to join the fun so register here and look under =E2=80=9CSt. Charles =E2=80=93 Hartland Crusaders." If you're unable to participate but want to donate you can drop off a donation to the School Office or Parish Office with the check made out to St. Charles Parish School or you can donate online at this link.
Endter's Night On Sunday, Oct. 21: St. Charles Night at Endter's in Hartland from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Endters will donate $5 for every large pizza and $3 for every small pizza to St. Charles Parish School. Dine in or carry out. See you there! To make the most of this dining night out buy SCRIP for Endter's in the Parish Office and then spend it on Oct. 21. Endter's has the highest profit rate of all our SCRIP vendors with 20 percent profit given back to St. Charles. Thank you Endter's! Here is a link to the SCRIP form.
